327 Bypass valve

can somone please tell me where i can find a bypass valve for my oil filter setup...i bought the conversion kit but i need the bypass valve for it (327 L-76)...thanks again
 
They are sold on EBAY all the time. I sold one a few months ago. You might have the buy the filter canister too.

Paragon sells a nice reproduction '56 - '67 bypass valve for $27 under part #807K. However, I'm not sure what you're seeking. You have a "conversion"? A conversion from a stock '64 filter system to what?
 
I assume you are converting to a spin on filter. I did this a while back and it was just a little tricky. The bypass goes on fine... the converter (assuming it is the same as mine) has holes for a big block and a small block. Be sure not to use the larger holes made for a big block. The rubber gasket is a bit tricky to get in place but not too bad. Tighen it pretty well and don't install your oil filter too tight. If you do there is a tendency for the adapter to twist a bit when the filter is removed and this can cause your adaptor gasket to leak. I am happy with mine but you just have to be careful of that. :)
