55' Valve Covers???

I have a set of original Chevrolet script valve covers that are chrome, also, one cover has a blue sticker on the end. How can I tell if these are from a 1955 model? I also have a NEW original Delco-Remy distributor cap for a dual piont distributor, what cars ran a factory dual piont distributor? :confused

Are they staggered hole?

No staggered holes, thanks for refreshing my memory I forgot chevy used staggered holes in the early years.

Dual-point distributors:

1956 - all
1957 - all except late 250hp fuelie Powerglide
1958 - 1961 - all 2x4's and 290/315hp fuelies
1962 - 327/340hp and fuelies
