I'm still a bit away from making a purchase, as I want to hear some systems first, but I'm thinking about an exhaust eventually for my car. I don't really think shiny stainless looks right on the pre-91 body style cars, and remember 632C2 put some kind of flat-black coating on his. Apparently Plasti-Kote Hi-Temp. I am curious how he cures the parts with this, it says on their website to bake them at 600F, which isnt' an option for me. The other option is to run the car for an hour within 8 hours of applying the paint. But I doubt the back half would get to 600F...
Anyway, the real reason for the post is in looking at the pictures, I just noticed he still has Gatorbacks on the back! All that power, and he probably can barely use it with those things!![]()
Ok cool, thanks for the feedback.632C2 said:I do use the Plasti-Kote Hi-Temp. I don't pre-bake the parts prior to running nor run for an hour within 8 hours of applying the paint. I just paint them and then run it.
