I am thinking of restoring a 65 vet but have some 64 interior parts...are they inter changeable thanks littleleo

The '65 interior was quite different from the '64. The seats were thicker and the door panels were molded. Also the guage faces changed. I'm sure some of the smaller items are the same but nothing major.

Normally we think of the '63 and '64 interior being similar and the '65-'67 being similar. Each year had it's own changes though.

I have some 1965/66 interior parts I may be willing to swap for your 64 parts. What do you need for the 65, and what do you have for the 64?Thanks. Silver63

That will be difficult to swap.....as the placing of door locks is different from 64 to 65/66. The door panels are not interchangeable as long as you haven´t got 64 doors as well.

Seats are very different as well. Differences form year to year. Some could be done by swapping seat foams and covers...some others not.

Instrument cluster and other stuff would fit....
