installed 4 speed in original 68 4speed car. when i got car it had turbo 350. i had to buy bellhouseing, clutch ,flywheel ,all clutch linkage. problem is with everything assembled the clutch pedal is on the floor i cant adjust it off of floor. bellhouseing is gm #403 clutch is luk replacement, all linkage parts are from ecklers. need help, thanks dan.

couple of suggestions

I just did an auto to manual conversion on a 79 and all my linkage worked out OK. The only parts that I can think of that may be wrong are the "Z-bar to clutch fork" piece or perhaps the clutch fork itself. I used the 621 bellhousing but believe the 403 is suitable also. If you got all the linkage pieces from Ecklers and they appear correct I would suspect you might have the wrong fork. Also, another possibility might be the wrong ball stud in the bell housing (possibly too short).
Let me know what you figure out
Regards, Phil
