I installed a DEARL deep sump pan on my 700r4 trans....has tubes under neath to keep oil cooler.....and 1 Qt. increase in fluid capacity...
Been using this for over 6 years......works great.....bought from Jeg's....
Go for it...

Hey, I have one of these coming myself.....you know the total fluid capacity offhand? I ask, so I can buy enough, and not have to run out for some once I start.....don't ya hate that?

Anytime you increase fluid capacity is good thing. I have one on my 57 BelAir with the Ramjet 350 and 700R4 trans with 87 Vette rear suspension and Jim Meyers Racing front rack and pinion. I also use an external cooler and a remote fluid filter just to keep everything clean.

I had a 57 Bel Aire many years ago. God how I wish I had kept it. The buyer had it shipped to Australia and did a frame off, I understand. Yours sounds very interesting!!

I've owned the car for about 13 years now. I bought it when my Doctor told me to find a new mode of transportation when I broke my neck for the second while riding my Harley home from work. Until 1992 I did not own a car, only Harleys. I bought the 57 from the friend of a friend and we turned out to be best friends and now have a shop specializing in restofieing 55,56, and 57 Chevys as well as some corvette work. Send me an Email at korvettekarl@hotmail.com and I will send pics from the Ground up if your interested. I bought the 57 knowing it would take a while to build and then went to local Chevy dealer and bought the most Corvette I could afford at the time. I knew getting the Harley 60 weight out of my veins would take a car that could give a rush near to what a Harley does for me. It's been a Happy 13 years this Thanksgiving weekend that I turned in my colors and started driving America's ONLY true sports car.
