I bought the 'orange' Timer for my 1977 vette. Now I can't seem to locate where it goes. The timer is for turning off the interior lights. I looked near the fuse box and under the dash with no luck. Any ideas where it might be??

I could be wrong but isn't it on the passenger side behind/under the glove box?

Early78 and earlier years I believe it's simply taped to the harness near the fuse box. Maybe a little higher up.
Noticed it in the AIM just yesterday while looking for something else.
Can post a pic of the illustration if ya need.

I think it is in different places depending on early or late. I think mine is late and it is attached to the wiring harness above the speedo and tach. You won't get to it without removing the dash pad.

*UPDATE*

Thanks for all the help on my "77" vette. Mine is a late model and the timer is located above the speedo and tac, taped to the wire harness.
It is not the orange timer. The timer is a silver cylinder that looks much like your hazard or turn signal flasher, and is much longer.
Again, thank you to everyone that answered in this forum post.
