Hi, i've got a 77 Vette and want to lower the front end so i have approx. an inch clearance between the tire and fender flare, can anyone suggest a set of coils that will give me that lowered look that i want that i can buy online somewhere?? i was told to go with Ecklers Gymkhana coils will these do the trick?

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Kyle

I have the 550 lb springs on my 77 and even with them, I had to cut 1 coil off to get the car as low as I wanted.

thanks for the info guys, so if i pick up a set of 550lbs springs from vette brakes and products i will have to cut a coil to get the look i want.. right now i have a ridiculous 4 inches between my tire and fender with im assuming the stock springs.. how do you go about cutting the springs? ive heard good and bad things about cutting springs, any thoughts??

thanks again

I used a die grinder and cutoff wheel. Worked great! Art

You can also go w/ coilovers but that ups the ante considerably.
