78-Rear Security Shade?

In my Owners manual it states I have a rear security shade,...which I do, however I don't see them listed on any vendor site's. Is there a possibility that am calling it the wrong thing, and if thats the case,....what should I be looking for?

Not really a vendor item. See them used on ebay all the time.

x2 Ebay is the best place to look. I didn't see any at the moment but keep looking...

Yeah, they aren't available in repro. I was checking ebay religiously for one to go in my 82.....got lucky one day, a vendor had a NOS black one, never installed in the GM box....I ended up paying almost $300 for it.

If you look in this picture, you'll see the security shade's handle. Essentially, it is a retractable pull-shade that hides its mechanism behind the rear carpet.

If I had more money that sense... I'd have my redone in claret.
