Help! 78 vette

Bought 78 Vette It sat for 5 years...wipers dont work, but still make then park...any ideas will help...old owner said they work before...I am new to Corvettes:bash

on my 79 it turned out to be a wiring problem. a wiring diagram is also a good idea as most of the books really dont have a complete wiring schematic.

Check for a good ground, sitting like that it might have rusted at the grounding point. If you have 12 volts, it could be the ground. The relay is behind the drivers seat in the battery area I think, my 76 doesn't have the relay. But check for 12 volts and a good ground. Maybe a 78 owner will help us here on the relay.
