Had a few nerve racking incidents with my 81. Seems that the clutch pedal linkage disconnects and I lose the pedal control. GM does not have any clips and cotter keys are too soft. It's a bear to get to too in the drivers compartment. The problem are is the end of the clutch rod and the connection to the pedal. Recommendations?
