81 Cruise control help....

Prior to me buying my 81 someone decided to hack away at the plugs that go into the cruise control transducer... The 3 wire plug is fine, the 2 greens and the blue... There's another plug going to the resume actuator, it's a tan and black wire and possibly either a vacumn switch or vacumn line running to the same spot. Can someone snap a digital picture and post it or mail it to me? GM part number for the plug would be a plus too... I don't want to have to replace the whole harness...

Guys, You'll find the systems are slightly different betweent these two years. The 81 is the first to have the "resume" function.
Which plug was it you wanted to get a shot of?? If it was the one to the resume solenoid, then you might need to hang on until someone else with an 81 chips in...
I too have an 80, so I might be no use either - but I've done a lot of work on my cruise though, so I'll help where i can if you need it..

I will do it right after I get back from the lawyer...I'm buying a house! Mine's an 81...and I've replaced the transducer already to fix my cruise, and it's excellent.

I will post in a few hours!

The origional owner replaced the transducer already but Bubba cut the wires up... Where on LI are you?

Definitely... I've been sneeking my "cough cough" 81 into Walt whitman on friday nights... The AACA club is sponsering a cruise night and not allowing 79 or newer cars... I need to Photochop a second reggy for the car...

Thanks a million... I put a circle around the pug that bubba cut out of the car... Now I know what it looks like and I/m either going to try GM or go junkyard hunting...
