82-Vette-Check Eng. Light-REVISITED

I am still having trouble with this problem.. Sometimes my "check engine light" will come on when I turn the ignition on and most times it don't. A fellow from Calif. told me i will find the answer (Intermittend Work/Notwork) in the 82 Corvette "Shop Manual" Sect. 6E,
The Problem is I don't have the 82-Corvette Shop Manual. Soooo is there any good samaritons out there with a copy of this manual and can tell me what to look for....:cry
