I guess the title says it all... almost. I've removed all the Torx head screws from the side an from the wheel wells. I also removed the hex head screws from underneath. Still can't get the rocker panel off. It seems there is a hidden fastener by the rear wheel. What's the secret?

Thanks, Jerry

Hmmm... Goin' from memory here, so bear with me. ;)

Two at the bottom area of the front of the rocker panel at the front wheel well, right?

I think there are four (?) screws holding the panel to the door sill, about an inch down and spaced about six or seven inches apart.

Then two more at the rear of the panel near the bottom at the rear wheel well, right?

And, there are three or four screws on the underside of the panel, along the bottom spaced about six inches apart.

I think that's it. ;shrug

Thanks Ken,

I have all those screws out but it seem there is another fastener of some type near the rear wheel well. If I stick a thin blade between the rocker and the frame I can feel it but I can' see anything. Prying doesn't help.

I'll have to take a look at mine in a little while, and I'll get back to you. ;)

I'm surprised no one else has offered a comment yet. ;shrug

i think you have to remove or slide the rear inner well [plastic panel] aside, then reach up in between through the front of the well...i think there is one down low behind the rocker...its hard to see because all the dirt packs up in there and covers the bolt...should be a 9/32

Damn, I was in the car twice today and forgot to look both times! I guess I was having too much fun cruisin' to think about a rocker panel. My mind was on my engine and how it was running. :cool

Sorry man, I'll try to remember when I go down to the garage again. :CAC

You might be right about the rear wheel well. It seems as if there is a stud attached to the back of the face of the rocker near the rear wheel well, but I cant see where it's attached to the frame.

For anyone that was intersested there is a stud with a nut hidden inside the rear wheel well.

Thanks to all who helped,
Jerry
