My horn doesn't work and I am going to replace the horn relay. Can anyone tell me where the horn relay is located in the vette ? Once I find it and get ready to replace it, is it necessary to disconnect the negative battery terminal? Thanks

Relay and a fuse located behind DIC ( idiot lights in center of dash.) I would check the fuse first. I don't think it is necessary to dis. battery, but you could to be on the safe side. Guy

Check for continuity at the black wire, when you press the button...Run another ground wire to the black wire at the relay...horn should sound...Check for power at the pink wire...put power to the green wire, see if the horns blow...Its usually the plastic clip under the horn button that breaks after 19 years.

Mine didn't work and I finally found there was a coat of grease on the contact plate in the steering column.
