ok guys i will tell you what i did then yell at me then please try to help i didnt have money to buy perf. mufflers so i got bright idea to knock out the plug in the rear mufflers tubes [ 2 tubes out of muffler one live other has plate welded inside tube i took big punch and opened the dead tube } sounds great but now car will not idle just stalled when you start it is there any way to fix prob without welding plates back in some day i will learn is prob caused by not enought back pressure please help thanks

I really can't see that being the problem. The ECM should compensate for it. People put on opened up exhaust all the time without ANY problems... hence the huge aftermarket exhaust system sales.

Perhaps you did something else, unwittingly, while back there hammering???? Fuel line?

Check out the rest of the exhaust system for possible changes, leaks, breaks, etc.

Maybe you just need to try and drive it so the ECM can recalibrate????

No, it doesn't need to be reset, just to recalibrate.

It needs to realize that it can breathe better now. :D

c4tom i drove car to work and back about 35 miles it stalled when i started it to come home got home and have started it a couple of times did not stall just tried it again did not stall mabye it learned thanks for you help

No problem. I hope it is cured. :D

Did it feel like it runs better? Curious...
