In the process of cleaning the underside of the gas door, I noticed the nut at the end of the ell bracket was rusty. Because the nut keeps me from removing the ell brackets from the door, I want to remove the nut from the ell bracket, but don't know how it's attched. Looks like an adhesive? Anyone ever done this? I have pics
