Where would you purchase Rotors & Pads for you ride? Would the local
parts place be OK (Advance Auto / Auto Zone)? Thanks

Personal opinion here, I'll not have another drilled rotor since I got them on my C6. The vanes collect the brake dust along with normal rust on iron rotors plus it adds $30/$40 per rotor. When you wash them out comes the black dust, at least most of it, the rest slings out onto the inside of the wheel when you move the car and looks like crap. Plus I've heard that some drilled rotors can crack and some have gone to just dimpled instead of drilled through.

Plain or slotted and zinc plated or e-coated rotors will do just fine and minimize the collected brake dust to screw up your wash job. Have a set of Centric Power Slots on my truck that I have had very good luck with. Would have them on the C6 but not wearing out the OEM fast enough to spend the money for just a clean wheel. Plus they didn't make them for the Z51 when I was looking to change them, and I can wash allot of wheels for the cost of 4 rotors.

Don't overlook RockAuto.com as your source for good parts, price, and service.

Good luck :thumb

RockAuto.com. They're prices are competitive and they are a CAC supporter.

The drilled rotor 'flaws' have to have a real pattern in the holes that does not place the holes in the same vanes where a crack can start and travel.
This same pattern design problem helps to collect and hold the dust that we hate seeing inside our wheels that always finds a way to the outside.
The cheaper drilled rotors have a defective pattern and its easy to see if you look at the placement of the holes against the vanes and remember the rule that there should not be more than one hole is any vane at any depth or level.
