Looking at a 94 coupe, 6spd, stock, less than 38k miles, one owner, always garaged, looks to be in very good conditon (have only seen pics and talked to owner). Also how does a low production paint color (yellow, purple etc) effect the value of the car? Thanks

I'd say low to mid teens . . .

Anything that is rare and desirable will increase the price.

Enjoy your C4 hunt, let us know what you end up with.

Later . . . . . .

Location has some to do with price also, I've looked on Roger's Corvette sales in Florida and Corvette Mike's site and I know their price wouldnt fly in Indiana, of course bying from an individual is usually cheaper, I'm sure you already know that. I bought my 94 conv. back about three years ago for 18000.00, I probably could have held out for 17000.00 but I got impatient and it had right at 20k miles on it and came with the hardtop. Good luck and take the time to find the right car, Ive always wanted a black one but I knew this car and its history.

Whay color is it????????

Only if the vette is competition yellow does the value go up in the 94 and the 6 spd also brings at least another $1000 to $1500.

The upgrade in 94 to non freon raise's the value a little and it's build is a little better then the c4's before it.

The mileage sounds great but as l always say pull a car-fax and have it checked out because sometimes a Car-fax is not complete. If the car-fax doesn't show to much and the owner serviced it then the true mileage will be suspect. I alway's remind people that it is a cheap investment to bring one's vette to a dealership once a year for an oil change so that the dealer will input the milage into his system and will be recorded on a car-fax. To get cheap is going to cost upon sale. And l don't want to hear how bad the dealerships are, keep it for another thread.

Now for the value being that a digital camera hides all flaws except the major one's.

If it is in excellent condition inside and outside and the tire's look better then 50% and the seats have no rips or wear marks and the weather stripping is soft to the touch with few rip's l would pay no more then $14,500 unless it's a drop dead car and for that l would go $15,500.

Keep in mind that the average 94 auto is worth $12,000 to $13,000 depending on color and condition.

There is no true value to a vette then your desire to want it.

Bottom line it sounds wonderfull and good luck.
