I am a new Corvette owner and have numerous things I want to upgrade on my new toy. I do not like the 'factory color' on the exhaust & muffler; but short of replacing them there doesn't seem to be many options. I have looked for chrome or stainless tips but only see the rectangle type, which I am not fond of. I have thought of painting them but not sure how long that will last. Any suggestions? Thnx.

You can paint them with high heat paint. Take you time if you replace the mufflers some will create drone. I put Flowmaster 40 series on my 95 auto and hate them, will be changing them soon.

I love Flowmasters but, wow....

40 Series grafted onto an otherwise stock exhaust would be loud and obnoxious.

I can understand wanting to take them off!

I have Flowmasters on my 95, but they're 50-deltas, which are three chamber mufflers. The 40s are two chamber.

I loved the Corsa system, I had on my 94. Sounded fantastic!
