I've decided to sell my '96 CE. It's in good shape but far from perfect. It has 219K miles on it. It still starts up quick and will smoke the tires. I recently rebuilt the suspension w/polyurethane and resealed the intake, also removed the injectors and had them cleaned and flow tested at FIS in San Antonio.
There are no major problems with it that I know of.

Just wondered what a fair asking price would be for it.

Thanks for any opinions

Lone73 - I'm sure you realize the mileage kills your asking price, but I'd say if you could get in the low to mid teens for your CE LT4 you'd be doing great! :thumb

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of putting it at $8950 based on what I've seen on Craigslist and some of the vette forum for-sale boards...

Have you photo-documented any work, with forum postings?

Mine is 'on the market'. Almost every time a wrench hits it, I take pics, and most of those times, I posted a thread about it in some forum. I'll be askin' a LOT for mine, and I expect to get real close to askin' price ;)

ANYone who works on their own vette (any car really), should take pics and post them in forums. You help other members, and you help yourself when you sell. Plus, if you forget reassembly sequence, you got the best reference possible.

Get you cell cam goin' every time you get a wrench-on...

Excellent advice Schrade! I've bookmarked many CAC threads for technical advice, some with photos, some without. But the photo threads are defintely easier to follow. :thumb

Good luck with your sale lone 73.

Mods on any car are tricky to try to get any of your money back when you sell it. Some people don't care about any power adders they just want a stock Corvette. Thats when its tough.

Good luck selling your 96!
