Need to replace upper and lower radiator hoses on 96 convertible....Thinking about replacing other hoses while I'm under the hood...Any input as to which heating/cooling hoses to replace would be appreciated. (AC Delco vs. Gates) Thanks....

Do them all

This past summer I had to replace my Fuel pressure regulator on my 91 vert.
I replaced all the runner gaskets and even some things that didnt need to be done because I figured what the heck. When buying the parts, my parts guy was great idea to replace things because u never no. I even replaced the upper Radiator hose. I drove my car twice. My engine compartment was like new. Clean as could be. I didnt replace however a small U shaped hose going on the front of the manifold. second time I drove it it blew. I only loosened it and retighened it while doing everything. It looked to be in great shape. Needless to say I am now using my winter to reclean and replace parts just like this. Good luck

Hey Chris.... Thanks for the input....where do you get your ACDelco hoses from?....I've found acdelco.com but have never ordered from this website. This is evidently some centralized system that gathers the order and places it with a distribution source of some kind to try to locate the parts. I don't want to wait for weeks before getting the parts and run the risk of back orders. Anyway, they seem to have the regular radiator hoses and most of the heater hose parts.....Do you buy locally from a dealer or online?.... I'm Chris R in Tn by the way. Thanks again.

Hey Chris
I get mine from the auto parts store down the road. You know most any larger chain should sell good quality hoses. I would not suggest going to a place like walmart or Kmart to get one but check with you parts store
