98' battery cable replace

Dealer wants 250.00 for the new positive cable!!!!!!!!Do all C5's have the same positive cable?

Hi there,
The cable is $80.
As far as the labor, it does route to the starter and to the distribution box.
The lower exhaust would have to be removed to get to these starter connections.
I would say that is reasonable.

Thanks for the info...I found a battery harness,positive and negative on ebay for 20.00. Im going to try and change myself.
Its sounds like a tight fit, I will check it out when I get it back from dealer.

Just wondering dealer still has car, is this positive cable really hard to get to.I will have to jack car up to get to starter? I dont have car to check clearance.:confused
