I would like to add a couple items to my 99 FRC. They are options for the coupes and verts and I would like to see how hard it would be to add to the FRC.

First one is to add the driving lights to the front. This should be fairly straight forward but I hope someone can tell me of any snags I would hit.

Second is the addition of the HUD. When I drove the Z06 I really liked the HUD and would like to add it to the FRC. The problem I see here is the film on the windshield that reflects the readout.

Anyone have any experience with these?

the driving lights should be straight forward. tie into the parking lights thats on the fender with your hot line that way when you have the parking lights on the front drivers are on also unless they are considered the daytime running lights then you might want to add a switch but i'm sure you can tie into the parking lights. mounting i can't help you there. i added a set of fogs to my 82 Camaro this way.

good luck on the HUD

Forget the HUD. Just get a shift light and spend the money you saved on wheel, tires and go fast parts.

This car already has all the basic go-fast parts. I'm thinking the HUD is going to be more than I want to tackle, but thought I'd ask.

Installing HUD parts is one thing. But you have to have a specially laminated windshield to allow the HUD to be displayed.

You should have bought a 2000 FRC. They have HUDs in those.
