A-arm bushings

Check the other side first, and can you post a picture of what you have apart. I have a lot of pictures, just not sure which ones to post for you to see a complete install or stages of it where you are now.

Basically, I have the entire left side apart, painted, and ready to put back on. the right side is untouched, because I wanted a reference (just in case).

I slid the left cross shaft over the frame studs for the right cross shafts (without removing the right), resting the left cross shaft on top of the right cross shafts so that I could try to see the difference in the two without taking the right cross shaft off. I couldnt see any difference between the two. is there a measurement that I should take that would indicate which direction is forward on those cross shafts?

Does my picture in last post help, I don't recall having this issue, as you can see by this mess... But let's see if we can help.

Its not that I dont know how it goes together, my only concern is knowing which end of the upper control arm cross shaft has to point towards the front of the car. There was an earlier post in this thread that states they are direction specific and should be marked upon removal.

The upper control arm shaft isn't side-specific; the same part number was used on both sides. Only the arm is side-specific.

Great! Thank you. Thats what I thought...
They were just too similar for there to be a difference, I mean, why would there be?

Also, TJay, thanks for your help and info. Im sure that link to the manual will come in handy many times over...
