450 miles up the Nevada desert with no HVAC fan...ugh! I pulled all 3 panel fuses to rest and nothing worked. I looked for codes in the fan control window...no codes. The manual says there's an UNDERHOOD fuse to protect the fan (blower) motor.

WHERE is it???????????

Underhood fuse block #1. LH Rear engine compartment, behind battery, attached to bulkhead. Fuse # 4, 30 amp, a/c blower motor. Just pulled this out of the 95 manual, hope it helps.

I can't find any regular fuses around there...no box or 5A fuse I can see. There are a few inline sealed (?) fuses that would be a real pain to replace, but no normal ones.

The manual also refers to the blower motor relay, but the diagram/drawing places it on the outside of the heater core box next to the blower mototr. There's nothing on the outside of the box, so it is on the inside under the cover??? Another PITA replacement if it is!

On top of the blower motor housing there are 2 electrical connectors. They are related to the blower motor speed. I had a problem a while back in which I was unable to control the blower motor speed. Cleaned the connectors & all has been well since. Just a thought.

It turned out to be the blower motor/fan itself. I picked up a replacement at Kragen's along with a multimeter and did the swap last night. Works like it hasn't in 3 years. I should have done this the first time it quit blowing or seemed to slow down.

Thanks to all of you....and thank you Kragen's for being open on Easter Sunday evening!:w
