A/C will not turn on

I hope the title is not misleading but here is the problem, I try to turn it on and all it does is blink on the a/c button a few times and then it goes off and just the fan comes on. Any help would be great thanks in advance.

AC will not turn on

Splash, the blinking light on the AC control means that you have experienced a freon leak and that is why you are not getting any cool air or the unit won't turn on. I had the same problem with my 91 and the leak had to be found and the system recharged.

You might want to ck. the outside air temp reading. If the sender goes bad and reads the temp as too cold it will not alow the A/C to come on and the light will blink.
