i've ordered a lot from LICS but wasn't sure if they would have Hurst parts or if any ball would work.

anyone know if most shifters are a common size thread?

The look-alike bolt-on lever for a Hurst shifter that makes it look like the stock Corvette shift lever isn't made by Hurst - someone else makes it for all the Corvette vendors; none of them show the knob as available separately. If it uses the same knob as the GM shifter, everyone has it separately.
