NICE pictures, wher is this??
Like my sig says "Washington State"! More specifically, Right next to the Seafarers Memorial in Anacortes,Fidalgo Island,Skagit County. I have around 19 freinds on that memorial.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. :upthumbs That is definitely a beautiful area. It has been a long time since I've been up there though.

Two quick questions - What brand/part # are your highbeam headlights & any special wiring needed?

Thanks!

5001/ 5006 HALO EURO XENON CONVERSION KIT 5 3/4" 4pc
This is a 5001/5006 Halo low/high beam conversion kit

This kit features:

  • 4 5 3/4" Diamond cut sealed beam conversion housings with Halo's
  • 4 H4 Xenon HID bulbs rated at 65/55 Watts, with an output of 90/100 Watts
  • 4 rubber covers (to keep the housings dry)
  • Headlights are plug and play, no rewiring is necessary
  • Glass Lenses
  • Euro Sytle Lenses
  • 50% Brighter than stock
  • Halo's will need to be wired in to either parking lights, turn signals, or to a seperate switch
This kit really lights up the road better than traditional halogen sealed beams. You'll notice a significant increase in lighting. Your car will light up the road like it never has before!

Now you can have your car project a clean bright white light with a bluish glow just like the newer luxury cars

What they neglected to mention is the major mods to the headlite buckets.Basically you have to cut out most of the back of them for the lights to fit in.

Whoa.. hold on! Very nice ....

C3RVette I love the hood an the whole look. It's a GREAT looking vette. We'll have to get togeather one of these days. I'm only about 45 minute away.

WOW!

To say your Vette looks "Terrific" is an understatement! Dazzling paint job, flashy wheels, fantistic ground effects. An insperation to all of us. PG.

That is a very nice Vette!

I bought the indy front spoiler and an L-88 hood for my 1973 Vette. I hope it looks that good when it is done.

Thanks 4 the compliments guys! I was looking at several hood ideas...like a Stinger, the L-88,& maybe a "turbo" hood.A freind beat me to it on a Stinger.I astually bought one & sent it back because it was so wavy.I wanted something a bit different, though & found the one I got now.Its just called a Vented Hi-Rise hood.Theres one just like it,but not as tall. My front urethane Indy spoiler is a bit beat up,because the '79's lowered about 1.5"/ I want to swap out the rear urethane one, because of the fatory waviness, for a 'glass replacement

Yup, Vancouver Washington. When I was in the Naval Reserves, I would head up your way, to Bremerton, once or twice a year to work in the Naval Ship Yard. Have not been up that way in a year or two though.

That it is; but this is November in the NW. We've been luck so far this Fall. I most likely will put the Vette away for the winter; but if a nice day comes along; Well you know. Cann't pass up what I call a Corvette Day if it happens.:beer

NO, I'm not. Haven't found a club close by as yet. Also I work weekend so I don't get to go to Events.:bash

The hood you have came from the Greenwood GTO Widebody. Again Great looking Vette.
