Ok, for one, it is MR. AngelEyes (Didn't anyone here ever see "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly?)
Ok, and here is the second part. I'll try to clear this up a bit.
The car is around $18,900, after tax, title and a 3yr/36k mile warranty is added to the tag price of $15,990. With my trade-in, It brings the cost down to $15, 918 out the door.
Now, the car has new brakes, rotors redone, new clutch, parking brake, new glass top, and a bunch of other little things that were fixed by the dealer. And as far as problems, the only thing I see wrong with the car, is a little paint cracking on the rear bumper, by the license plate area, the driver mirror does not move side to side, and the latch on the console door is broken. Other than that, the car looks 100% perfect.
Now, if I drop the warranty (which I consider unwise), then, after my trade in, the car is only $13,918, out the door.
Now, I went back to the dealer last night, with guns blazin' to try to lower the price, but he seemed pretty firm. I didn't want to get rude with him, but I kept telling him, the car just isn't worth it. He didn't want to hear that though... I guess dealers live in a dream world sometimes.
I'll keep you all posted. I'll know Thursday. Thanks for all the help. I just haven't seen a car this nice, from a dealer... and I'm kinda stuck, because, I need to trade in my current car. And I also need to mention, the car has to be close to me. I don't have the time or effort to go pick one up somewhere.
