I have a 97. Both my ABS and Traction Control Light come on whenever I hit a bump in the road. My message reads "Service Traction Control". The code reads C1225H (Left Front Excessice Wheel Spin Variation). This is progressively getting worst.

Any sugestions before I spend my left arm at the Dealership?

Thanks for any help,

Mike

HI there,
FLIR is correct.:upthumbs
The harness that flexes could be producing this condition.
I have replaced hundreds over the c5 line.

Great info!!

All this makes since! Will check it out thanks...

It worked!!

I reached around my wheel and found the connector to the wire harness that connects the ABS and traction control. It feels like it wasn't connected firmly. I jiggled it around and tried to push it back in. Before I did this the warning light was coming on every trip I was making. Since I did this it has quit. I plan on taking the wheel off and re-securing the connector.

Thanks!!
Great advise!!!

Mike
