Just had the engine rebuilt and came out of the shop with the ABS warning light on.
Will not clear. Shop looked at it again and said all grounds were good. Suggested ABS computer has gone bad.
Is this possible just by being in the shop?
Codes showing are:
P1571
U1040
B2607
C2115
U1000
U1064

I know the brakes work, not really anxious to see if I have the abs or not.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

HI there,

Your P1571 is what is causing the code, BUT, its telling you that the PCM is looking for a signal and its not seeing it from the EBTCM.

If you have a bad ground source or something isnt connected, this could set. Remember, the EBTCM or ABS controller is mounted to the front subframe so it would have had to be moved.

I have seen bent terminals, pinched wiresand other issues create this code.

I would be looking very close at the wiring as it must go from the left front of engine to the firewall, over the bellhousing, and to the PCM.

Allthebest, Paul
