Sorry I forgot about the relay in the accumulator,NEW INFO....The lead to the ECM was open, that did not clear the check mark and I grd'd the lead and that did not clear it. I am not sure if I should try battery without more info.........
I posted this before and still have the problem.
No one seemed to have the answer.
I will start.
1982 Collectors Edition.
When testing using computer and winaldl the AC Clutch is checked.(check mark)
Reading the manual it says that if with this being sent to the ECM it will
compensate for the extra load and adjust accordingly.
1st, my AC does not work and it is shut off.
The AC Clutch is not operated,I can operate and let it release myself.
I no the wire going to the ECM.
I tried opening it, grounding it and putting battery on it.
It does not change the check mark.
I am trying to set up my tbi's and I think this is giving me touble.
I also think it is causing it to run richer than it should.
I guess what I am asking, what causing the check mark telling the ecm
that the AC Clutch is engaged. open, grd, battery.
If I know what it is looking for it would be much help.
Can someone give me the answer please, Jim
