After replacing my battery the other day, I notice the light on my electronic ac unit was flashing....checked manual and saw that this indicates some sort of electrical problem with ac unit. I ran the hvac system diagnostic method (holding up and down fan buttons down at the same time) and then going thru parameters till I found only one error code, which was an 02 (temp door motor circuit fault). Is this a simple fix or not? I tried pulling the fuses listed in manual to reset system, but want to make sure I am pulling the right ones, I saw another thread which stated pulling the fuse #27 while the system was running, but that was for a C5, I don't imagine a C4 is the same. Thanks;help

I don't want you to feel we left you hanging out here without at least trying to get you some help. If Paul (c4c5specialist) sees this, maybe he has an answer for you. ;)

Fellow Ruby owner, from your post it seems you do not possess a GM shop manual. Here is a link that will provide a GM manual for $35: http://www.factoryautomanuals.com/

To your immediate problem...let's hope you did not have the ignition in the "on" position while you were pulling fuses (A/C Prog and A/C Clutch), or you lost the the A/C programmer logic. If so, you can restore them by removing and reinstalling the negative battery cable (wait one minute before reinstalling the cable). The feed back Potentiometer sensor measures the position of the temperature door which provides the programmer with info to drive the door motor. You will have to have a tech analyze your problem. It is possible the door is just misaligned causing the temp door motor potentiometer resistance to be outside the specified range.
