ac problems ? weak blower

ok installed new actuator an a ac head unit air is coming out the rite vents now but i'm still throwing the same codes BO361 H & BO441 H cleared them keep coming back . read somewere that i have to cycle the ignition 50 times for the codes to clear for good am i rite ? thanks john

I'm posting this with the assumption that you are driving a 2004. If so and you're throwing code B0361 and B0441, then your driver's side vents should be blowing somewhat warm air. You didn't say which actuator you replaced but that code is specific to that side. It takes 100 fault free cycles of the ignition to clear that code, the key words being "fault free". If the code reappears at key cycle 99, then you will need another 100 fault free cycles for the code to disappear on its own. Since you are manually clearing the code, it should stay gone unless there is a problem. If it is returning, then there is a problem somewhere, which the result would be your driver's side vents blowing warm air. I don't know what trouble-shooting steps you went through to determine what the issue was but the 2001-2004 cars had redesigned actuators in them and do not normally experience the faulty actuator problem that the 1997-2000 model years had, which would sometimes include the over-travel of the vent doors inside the dash. A PITA of a job to repair.

I've attached a document that specifically addresses that code. I have also attached the TSB that addresses both codes. If you are experiencing both codes, you could have a door issue inside the dash (assuming you've replaced the driver's side actuator with a new one). With the cost of a actuator, that's the last thing that I would want to replace unless I knew for a fact that it was bad. Even the service manual has you attempt to service them before you replace them.
