hey fellas need help, thinking about putting new injs. in my 1990 L98. as far as i can tell injs. that are in car now are rated at 24lbs would it hurt to go to 26 motor is stock except for 52mm tb plus slp runners also has anyone run accel inj. pros /cons any help appr.

Just finished replacing my injectors w/ Bocsh Pink Tops (22#) from FiveOMotorsport.com. I thought about getting the Accel's due to their low price. But after reading some threads on the CAC, I didn't see much positive feedback on them... Better feedback on the Bocsh Ford injectors. Also, thought about upping to 24#, but decided to stay stock since my motor is still stock.

That is exactly what I did. I didn't read many good things about the Accel injectors but read a lot of praise about the Pink Tops so I bought mine from FiveO just like the Jerk. :D

I might start working on it next weekend if I don't have work. :D

Hey Edmond, BTW...Since I snapped my EGR heat pipe in two during my reassembly, I haven't really drove the car other than down the street. But I got the new heat pipe on today and took the car out for some serious testing. It runs like a bat out of you know where. It could be my imagination, but it seems smoother and quicker on the acceleration. It revs so quick, I have to be carefull. Just thought I'd let you know those Pink tops work great. Now maybe you'll be inspired to get your's done!

Happy wrenching!!!!:D

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. But when I get mine done, I'll at least have a new cam in there. I don't know if I'm getting a full rebuild this winter or not but it's going to be a totally different animal than it is now. It's going to be much better than it was when it came off the Bowling Green assembly line.

I'm looking for 325-350 HP through some 3.45 gears. :D
