Adding and Aero and Dymags

Hey, anyone know how much it would cost (roughly) to add the aerobody and a set of dymags to my '92 SNAT?

The Dymags will typically sell anywhere from $3k to $4k which is also dependent upon tire inclusion/exclusion. Do a search on this forum and you'll see a small variety of the wheels that were produced and also the off-set and finish differences.

If you're looking for an Aerobody to purchase... that price is one thing... getting it installed and painted is entirely another. Plan on doubling the price if it's done by a reputable shop. $20k complete would not be far fetched!

Also, What horsepower model is your car?? 400, 425, 450, etc.. ??


As mentioned above, DY's can widely vary depending upon condition and model of the Dymags - I found one set for a fellow here & he picked them up more or less, for FREE :eek

I have also seen 2 Aerobodies for sale New but technically used as they were sold but either never fitted or, never really installed - Both Aerobodies were deals and that helped offset some of the paint / prep costs as mentioned above, that can cost as much or more than the kit itself :eek

Callaway4Fun added the Aerobody over this past winter and his car looks awesome!!

You know, honestly, I couldn't tell you what wheels are on there right now. They're chrome 5-spoke, 17". I am actually quite happy with them, but I love the look of the dymags so if I could get a set on there, I might look into it.

My SNAT is the 400 model. New headers were installed just before I purchased the car last August and the seller told me that the HP was increased to 475, however that seems like a stetch to me.

I might look into the Aero, cause I LOVE the way that looks. The other thing I might consider is selling my SNAT and buying one with the Aero already on it, however I have grown so attachted to mine, I don't think I could just trade it in like that!

If you are looking for "less dollars out the door" I would think you can sell yours for an Aerobody version, for less out the door than adding the Aero to your current one.

Either way, you can't lose but you would be ahead dollars wise by finding one done...


Does your SNAT have any other options such as brakes, suspension (Coilovers), or interior mod's??

Yes, it has the suspension, brakes, frame has been lowered, according to the guy I bought it from it has a new transmission (was that a Callaway option?), plus a new rear end. The only interior mods are the floor mats and Callaway plate/tag on the center console.

Ha ha! Okay, okay, I know I said I'd get 'em this past weekend and I didn't. I bought a digital cam for my fiance last Christmas and I don't have one, so I need to remember to grab it next time I'm over there.
