Need to know if anybody has used a good adhesive to reinstall Corvette logo on valve cover ( basically heat resistant.
Thanks:grinshot :beer

Hey I need to do this to! I removed mine and Im currently painting it! Whats the Glue we buy guys!

The emblem on my 89 came off. I am also looking for the right glue to reinstall it. JB Weld was one of my alternatives. Has anybody used JB and found that it holds up to the heat and the porus magnesium?

Yes, I have done it now three times on Nikki's 89, my 86, and the 90. We have owned the 90 the longest, and the JB has held up at least 30,000 miles. The engine is now shelfed, but the emblem is still there!

Use brake cleaner on a rag, get the oil out, scuff the surface up on both sides, and JB weld away!

Look in the Mid America and or Ecklers catalog....please be seated prior to reading the price.

Why not RTV?

RTV might work but it would need to be the high temp version....

I vote the JB weld, but I don't see why hi-temp copper-colored RTV won't work just fine. I use the copper on intake manifold seals. It works great.
