I purchased a GM licensed restoration cable a few months ago.
When the car was warm, well... let's just say the cable's metal innards came out of the plastic outer shell and I had to pull the cable from the driver's side as best I could to get the passenger side to release. :ugh
I called up the company I ordered it from and they sent a new one. Same thing happened to that cable.
I found a NOS cable on eBay and it works fine.
Has anyone else run into quality issues with aftermarket cables?
