Here is my problem

I bought a new fob for keyless entry, all programed and working great. Sitting on couch and hear car alarm go off, went outside with keys, fob unlocked doors, alarm went off. No one messing with car, im back to watching T.V. 3AM I wake up to the most exspensive alarm clock ever, my alarm on my car, again. walk out unlock doors, start car to charge battery up a little. Why would my alarm keep going off for no reason? Do you think I have a faulty door switch?

Door switches sound like a good place to start. Don't forget to check the hatch switch as well. Good luck!

You can usually tell if the door switches are bad by going over a bump at an angle (especially with the top off) if the interior lights flicker on and off, one or both of them is probably going bad. The driver's side is most likely. A temporary fix is to get something to pad the button, so it gets pushed in more. That thick 2 sided tape works well, just don't take the backing off of one side.

door switch

It is the door switch, the lights started flickering, I hold the button in and they stop. It must have a really bad connection that a breeze would make it go off at night and trip the alarm. I ordered both of them today, I'll replace the drivers first and probably save the other for a backup, when the passenger goes bad. Thanks all....
