1985 Corvette. When my headlights are closed, the back inside edge sits a little higher than the hood. This is the one on the passenger's side. If you're sitting in the driver's seat it, would be the left rear corner of the door. Is there a way to adjust the door so that it sits more level and the same height as the hood? I looked for some apparent adjustment screws, but couldn't find anything.

I found the answer. When you open the hood and turn on the headlights, you can see a hard rubber hex screw located at the bottom of the assbly. This screw determines when your headlight stops closing. It's adjustable. Got adivce from another Vette owner (Central Coaster).

I have the same problem with my 73 except the very back edge on one side only is just below and needs to come up a hair. Because its is a hair to low when coming up it rubs against the body thus putting a small mark in my paint!!!!!!!!! Tried adjusting the hex nut but only seems to raise and lower the front of the cover.
