Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

An old theme but a new thread...

How about the old thread? Like maybe last summer...
It's a repeat? Drat...

It looks like a couple of the regulars on the thread recognize this epic beast. For those who didn't get it, this last picture should bring it home...

When did the name of this thread change to: Name that ugly car! ?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Greg... Or is that beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder? :chuckle

I remember it was in the thread before and made in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Other that, I do not know. :ugh

The Mohs Ostentatienne Opera was a BIG car built in Madison Wisc. on a truck frame made by International Harvester. It was also powered by an International Harvester truck engine.
The Opera distinguished itself from other cars in that it didn't have doors. It was designed this way to improve safety. Instead of getting in from the side, you would do so from the rear hatch.

It looks red. Seriously.

The skinny tires narrow down the options a tiny amount (ie: not North American) and it appears to be front engine but even that isn't assured…

I dont think the wheels are skinny at all. Not as wide as a Vette, though. Looks to me like an Eastern European attempt at a GT car......Roger.

Percocet clouding the Google-fu... how about a clue other than a single picture? ;)

OK ... another pic clue!

Hmm… Rear engine after all… Something looks familiar but…

Ha! Got it!! That means I gotta go find something for my turn… hmmm….

That's what I thought too… If you have one ready to go, go for it!

Actually, I did find one while searching for the Ghia!! I'll get it cleaned up and posted in the morning. The Maker's Mark is starting to take over for the evening... :beer

I heard of Maker's Mark but I haven't tried it yet.

According to my Google-fu, if those are stock (and they appear to be) they are 5.6x15" bias ply tires.
