My Analog oil temp gauge in my 93 is not reading correct or even close - always VERY low....the digital display oil temp gauge shows a reasonable reading.

The analog gauge DOES move some but never more than half way to the FIRST notch.

I assume the same oil temp sending unit is used for the analog and digital readings .... based on this may I assume I have a defective analog gauge or could the problem be in the wiring to the analog gauge.

Thanks.

the analog gauge does not read correctly on any 1990-1996. This is from the factory... I (and my family) have owned a 1991, 2 1993's and now a 1996 (which, on the '96 they change the dash to make it seem like it works)... none of them did or do anything... just go by the digital readout (which, by the way, the 1991 did not have)

Analog Gauge

I have to believe this is fixable ....I'll check with a local shop ....guess I'm hard headed ...
