Another Bose question

The lights have blown out in my Bose unit. The unit works fine but I have to turn on the light on the rear view mirror to see the display in the evening. The car is a 96.

Anybody every fix one, or better yet, is it fixable?

My bet would be a faulty LED or something. You might be able to open it up and test the light out with a 9v battery. If it doesnt work, go buy a medum sized LED from Radio Shaq and install it.

You have a choice of colors that way too.

Maybe I can go for a groovy Lava Lamp effect! I think I'm probably stuck with a dark radio for now.
