A proud (third) owner of a 1989 bright red coupe with 56,000 miles. Salt has already hit the streets in Western NY, so it sits in my garage. I'm very impressed with the talent and expertise of this forum which I'll count on if I get into any project that is over my head. :D

welcome to the cac and good luck with your new 89

TedC, Welcome to the CAC.
May the winter be short for you!

:welcome

Congrats on your new '89, Ted.

Stick around and we'll try to keep you entertained with Corvette talk through the cold winter.

Check out the Tech Center, the Model Center, or the 1989 Model Page for some interesting reading and great photos!

Enjoy!

Let me add another welcome to the CAC and of course to a fellow red C4 owner; best color IMO. Two years agowhen I was in Buffalo on business, I was told to get to Cleveland the next morning for a trial. Had to fly thru Detroit as there were no direct flights. I think that I could have gotten there faster by a direct route in your 89 coupe; the point of this little ditty is that we hope that you will join us in Cleveland this year for the Cruise Fest. I know Andre will be trying to outdo Patrick's marvelous CF07. BTW, my C4 and C5 are tucked away for the winter.
Again - congrats on the 89.

Hi TedC, welcome to the CAC. :w I hope that a warm Chapel Hill NC welcome gets rid of some of the cold country blues.

Welcome!

Welcome to the CAC TEd. Third owner but your first? Don't worry, the facial muscle soreness you've experienced is a result a the new Corvette owners grin. It's chronic but not terminal. 89s :upthumbs ROCK!

Welcome Ted C, CAC is a good place to hang out in the winter, in the summer you better be touring in the Vette.

Bill :w

Milehigreg, This is actually my second vette. First vette was a stock 1988 with Z52 package. Received such a great offer that I could not refuse it. I really like the early C4 body and L98 engine with auto and G92 performance axle. The grin has not gone away.
