If so, check out this website: http://www.jamisoncustomcorvette.com/c2hybrid.htm

Currently, it is only offered for the C2, but I have spoken with the owner, and there are plans to eventually build a C3 version. The only thing lacking now is the interest of enthusiasts. Use the Contact Us button to send an email declaring your interest!

That really looks good. With the number of C3's with rusty frames out there there should be a market for this; but as always the cost will be a big part of the interest. I'd like to see a bolt in trany cross member to adjust for use with Auto, 4-5 or 6 speed tranys.

I offered my car as a donor for a prototype C3, but it is too new for now. He is looking for a 68-72 donor. I am not sure how different the frames are, but I guess we will see.

Well I just sold my 78 Eckler Daytona and will be looking to start a new project in the spring or sooner. Maybe I can be of help if my new vette is what he is looking for. Let me know how it goes and if I can help. I prefer the 78-80's, but I have always thought about a 65-69 conv.

Gary--
If you buy a 68-69, drop me a line. I had a chance to snatch up a (former) 427 '69 Coupe for $4400, but ended up passing on it because it was just too rough. It might have been perfect for this though!

A few months ago I located a body only Daytona conv in Florida, but couldn't figure out how to get it back to Washington state in a cost effective way. I wish I could find it again. I have a spare sb motor just sitting around, so maybe I'll find some different at a good price. If I find something I'll get back to you. If you run in to something let me know. Let me know if anything changes on the frame.

Also if you know anyone looking for a 78 4 speed stocker, the guy that bought my Daytona is selling his to help pay for mine.
