Anyone parting out C3 convertible?

I'm looking for a brace that goes behind the passenger side dash on C3 convertibles. The brace goes from the trans tunnel to the outside of the upper dash (about where the windshield pillar is).

I think only convetibles had these braces. Not something the parts suppliers carry. I've contacted some Corvette salvage yards but everyone has coupes.

If you know of anyone parting out a C3 convertible I'd appreciate you sending me their contact information.

Hi

The way I understood it, AC cars have no braces on the pax side.
This might be the reason why yours seem to be missing.:upthumbs

There is a dimple in the a/c plenum that looks like it was meant to allow clearance of the brace. I didn't run a string between to two mounting bolts to verify that but it looks like it would be inline with where the brace goes. I don't see any other reason for the dimple.

Thanks for the help guys.
I'm putting the dash back in without the brace. Maybe I'll pick one up some day and see if it will go in. In the meantime, I'm just looking forward to getting it back together so I can drive it. Hopefully we'll have a mild winter

Hi

Yes, looks like if the longer rod is installed, but the shorter one further fwd on the Pax side not, on AC convertibles.

Hi

Not trying to hyjack the thread, but anyway:

I decided to try to install this braces also to my early 68 in order to stiffen all up beside stiffening the chassis.

So could do with the complete brace set, hence saddle part on top of the tunnel + all 4 rods including their attachment brackets.

Any more C3 convertibles being parted out ?
