Anyone Taken Delivery of New Z06!?

Has anyone or does anyone know of anyone who has taken delivery of a 2006 Z06? Last I knew, all deliveries were on hold until further notice. There were several that made it through, but supposedly it wasn't many!?

My friend took delivery of his (C6 Z06) today - drove it home, no problems !

there are a few that have been delivered. They had some quality issues. A bad batch of wheels that they found some chips on the wheels so that delayed em and a few other small items. GM is making sure evryone is perfect before they release them.
GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE THAT WAIT.I would rather deliver a ZO6 to a customer that has been thourally checked over then have them give me 70000.00 and have to come back and have something fixed.

70K?? On CAC front page it says MSRP is 89K and an earlier post said 69K. What is MSRP Base for the ZO6?

base is $65800 (includes destination); 2LZ package is $2900; museum option is $490; Lemans Blue is $300; Victory Yellow is $750; U3U AM/FM CD/Nav is $1600; US9 AM/FM 6 disk CD/XM Radio is $1740; polished wheels are $1295

The $89K was a press release from GM Canada so that's Canadian dollars.

We delivered one still in the plastic. That is the way he wanted it. We called him when the truck was here. He came and drove it from behind the truck. He said he was gonna go put it in the garage. Well we saw him driving down the freeway a couple hours later. The other one we delivered the guy picked up in the rain. Said he had waited long enough. They are an absolute awesome car and best bang for the buck for sure.

I rode in one at CruiseFest 2005. Yes, it's mad crazy! Neck snapping torque in ANY gear! Although, Roadster Fan could also give you a smiliar impression since he basically has a convertible version. Unfortunately, I didn't get a ride in his car, but from all our discussions, the 'feel' is about the same, if not a wee bit faster in his car.

I was talking with a guy I work with yesterday... He has an '06 Z06 on order. He said it's RED and he's even springing for Museum delivery. I think he plans to go to the assembly plant to see it being built too. It's his first Vette and he's going all out!

I told him AWESOME! and I expect a ride in it soon after delivery.

First sighting...

I saw a new silver Z06 heading southbound on the 101 from Santa Barbara to Ventura on Sunday (10/9). She looked awful sweet even sitting still in that nasty weekender traffic.

SWEEET car and what a monster. Had a great time cruising for about an hour or so.............. than the dog woke me because he needed to go out!
Oh well, dreams can be nice too!

They have delivered 3 here in Las Vegas in the last week. The Dealers here are adding 20k to MSRP.

I've been to my local dealer hoping for a glimpse but keep missing the elusive Z06s. There should be at least one at the cruise in next Friday - I hope!

BTW, that dealer is getting $17,500 over for the cars now. Another local has sold the first batch at $20K over.

I sure hope I get to buy one of those used someday!
