Am in the process of puttting my 66 back together.
Gosh so many parts:ugh and so little brain cells left:crazy .

Now that i have begun i seem to have lost, (not really) just cannot seem to find all the nuts and bolts that i sorted and bagged with labels so i would know what went where.
Here my son and i just loaded the frame in my PU after powder coat.

Rebuild

Love the parts so far. My 66 is a few months ahead of you. Are you going to put the front springs in prior to the engine install? I ended up using 5/8" threaded rod to pull the spring down to connect the ball joints. It is nice to work on the car without getting full of grease and dirt. Jerry

Looks great!

This is always the fun part. All the major disassembly and cleaning is over and it is fun putting it all back together, working with clean and fresh parts.

Keep those pics coming...we all love a project around here!

Take care,
Brian

Yup this is the fun part of getting to put so much on the car and see some major improvements, then ,well you kinda hit a wall when it come to finalizing the car.

Enjoy this part of the project while you can

ever hear the old saying 90% of the work is completed in 10 percent of the time, then the other 10% of the finishing work takes the other 90% of the time

Every project I have ever done this rule always gets me.

As Jerry said the threaded rod works well just make sure you protect your new parts from scratches
