ATI Procharger

Good day folks,

Any thoughts on the ATI Procharger 1SC intercooled unit?

I'm thinking of buying one, however, not sure if the HP gains the company claims is correct.

My friend just bought a 2000 cp, with ATI Procharger. The seller claims a 474 RWHP and 499 lb/TQ? Somehow the numbers seems way to high.

The Ati kits indeed produce the power. The most important aspect is the boost and comp ratio of the car. The z06 runs a high comp motor. Dont over boost. Lots of talk on this on other sites as well.

Would a 6.5LB be a good enough boost? ATI include a 7LB boost. Vortec include a 6.5LB boost.

I've been told between 5-7lbs boost is ok for the stock Z. You will want to work further with your tuner/installer for best results...........

I was going SC but instead went HC both are assume power adders on our cars.........
